Call for Applications:

Internship & Summer School 2025

The Institute of Natural Science and Applied Technology (INSAT), Kolkata, is pleased to invite applications from motivated UG and PG students for an immersive Internship and Summer School Program. This program aims to provide practical exposure to the interdisciplinary applications of plasma physics in biological and chemical sciences through hands-on experiments, expert lectures, and research-oriented training.

Themes:

1.Hands-on Experiments on Application of Plasma Physics in Biological and Chemical Sciences (open for all branches of science)

2.Theoretical Investigation of Nonlinear Plasma Phenomena (Only for Maths/Physics students)

**New themes to be announced later.

Program Highlights:

•Hands-on training in plasma-based techniques for biomedical and chemical applications.

•Interactive sessions with leading researchers and industry experts.

•Lab experiments on plasma sterilization, surface modification, and plasma-assisted chemical reactions, generation of PAW.

•Certificate of Participation upon successful completion.

Eligibility:

•Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related disciplines.

•Strong interest in interdisciplinary research.

Duration:

•Internship: [60-120 Hours] (Full-time, [tentative mid-May] to [by June])

•Summer School: [14 days] [May June 2025] (Hybrid mode)
